| Code Composer Studio™ from Texas Instruments is an easy to use C/C++/Assembler Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that spans the entire development process including design, code and build, debug, analyze and tune. It includes C/C++ Compiler, Assembler, Linker, integrated CodeWright editor, visual project manager, DSP/BIOS real-time operating system support, real-time analysis capabilities, debugger and optimization tools, and a variety of simulators and emulation drivers. The familiar tools and interfaces allow users to get started faster and become productive immediately.

| TI’s C6713 DSPs are equipped with a JTAG interface, which is connected to emulation logic on the DSP to provide access into registers and other internal functions such as on-chip cache memories.
| The Blackhawk XDS510™ and XDS560™-class emulators connect the JTAG interface on the DSP board with the development PC. These emulators are tightly integrated with the Code Composer Studio debugger interface to make all of TI´s real-time emulation control and visualization capabilities available to the developer. They are available with USB or PCI connection to the development PC.

| Developers using C/C++ or Assembler on Sheldon Instruments DSP boards can now buy all the required tools in one complete Development Bundle, without having to contact multiple vendors.
Developers programming Sheldon Instruments DSP boards with our proprietary QuVIEW/QuBASE tools in LabVIEW or Visual Basic do not require a C compiler or an emulator; QuVIEW and QuBASE come free of charge with Sheldon Instruments DSP board.
