JTAG Emulators for SI-DSP Boards

All of our DSP boards feature a standard JTAG connector that can be used to attach an emulator. Experienced DSP programmers can develop their DSP code using Code Composer Studio, and if necessary, debug it on our boards with a JTAG emulator.

The JTAG emulators from industry leaders Blackhawk-EWA Technologies and Spectrum Digital are great tools for developers who want to program our Sheldon Instruments TI C6713 based DSP boards in C/C++ or Assembler. Optionally, you can also get the QuVIEW/QuBASE tools in LabVIEW or Visual Basic do not require any compilers or emulators; QuVIEW and QuBASE are included without charge with all Sheldon Instruments hardware.

	Blackhawk USB560	The Blackhawk™ USB560 JTAG Emulator is the first XDS560™-class emulator using the high-speed USB 2.0 host interface running up to 480Mbits/sec. The USB560 JTAG Emulator will link the GUI debugger (Code Composer Studio™ v3.x), running on a PC workstation or portable computer, to the target DSP. This enables the developer to take advantage of the latest emulation technology from TI and use it anywhere.
	Blackhawk USB560BP	The Blackhawk™ USB560BP JTAG Emulator has the same features as the XDS560, but is USB powered.
	Blackhawk PCI560	The Blackhawk™ PCI560 JTAG Emulator is a high-performance half-length PCI-based JTAG Emulator for Texas Instruments TMS320, TMS470 (ARM®) and OMAP™ families and the new DaVinci platform. The PCI560 JTAG Emulator is also compatible with Code Composer Studio Flash-burner utility, and features a variable TCK (timing clock) up to 50MHz.
	Blackhawk USB510	The Blackhawk™ USB510 JTAG Emulator is compact, lightweight, and USB powered. The USB510 JTAG Emulator features a USB 2.0 port with speeds up to 480Mbits/sec, and is also compatible with Code Composer Studio Flash-burner utility.
	Blackhawk USB510L	The low cost Blackhawk™ USB510L JTAG Emulator is compact, lightweight, and USB powered. The USB510L JTAG Emulator is also compatible with Code Composer Studio Flash-burner utility.

	Spectum Digital XDS510-USBPlus	The Spectrum Digital™ XDS510 USB Plus JTAG Emulator is compact, lightweight, and USB powered. The XDS510 USB Plus JTAG Emulator features a USB 2.0 port with speeds up to 480Mbits/sec, is compatible with Code Composer Studio Flash-burner utility, and features a variable TCK (timing clock) up to 32MHz.
